To enter the Discover Diving Program you must be between 12 years old and 99 years young, love water and be physically fit.
The course takes one day and includes theoretical explanation and one training dive with your instructor.

Although the course does NOT certify you as a licensed diver, after successful completion of the course you are allowed to:
Dive for a period of NO MORE then 14 days under the DIRECT SUPERVISION of a 'PADI CERTIFIED ASSISTANT' to depths NOT EXCEEDING 12 METERS (39 FT) within the facility where you received your training.
This course perfectly suits the needs of those who do not have time to complete the complete PADI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE, or who just want to give it a 'one time try', to see if they like it.
