SeaQuest Dive Center in Malapascua Island

We are proud to present the third SeaQuest base in the visayas. SeaQuest MALAPASCUA. The diving here is spectacular and it keeps those thrill seeking divers coming back for more. Thresher sharks in the morning, Manta’s in the afternoon, a newly discovered Hammerhead point, sleeping sharks, wreck diving, and lots of great macro stuff. SeaQuest Dive Center is a 5 Star Dive Center. PADI This means that next to organizing fun dives we also offer a complete range of scuba diving courses. We can introduce you to the wonderful underwater life (introduction dive) and we can teach you to become a professional PADI Scuba Dive Master. The brand new dive center is located right on the main beach of Malapascua, Bounty beach. The building we occupy is part of the brand new Legend Resort, built in 2010.

Wake up early for Thresher shark stake out at Monad Shoal come back for breakfast and after a bit of relaxing stroll over to the dive center to go for your next dives. At Malapasca you could make 4 dives a day! And a night dive.  

Malapascua is one of the most beautiful islands of the Philippines. Its pristine white sandy beaches with palm trees on the back drop are still in natural beauty. Malapascua has not yet been discovered by the masses and offers a real island life feeling.


In the dive shop we have Cressi Sub diving dive equipment ready for rent. Brand new 12L INT tanks, 12L DIN tanks and 15L INT and DIN tanks, so no more adaptor needed if you’re a DIN diver. The tanks are quietly filled outside the resort.

We have put together a team of experienced local dive guides, who know the specialties of Mapapascua’s underwater world extremely well. The local boat crew has been carefully assembled and tested. For marine transportation a typical local outrigger boat and a speedboat with 75hp engine will give quick and comfortable access to most dive sites. We host a powerful LW compressor and a Nitrox blending system for easy cylinder fillings with your air of choice.

This laid back island is located just off the North tip of Cebu Island. There are no cars on the island (yes), the locals are friendly (yes) and helpful and even might invite you for a chat, a meal or even a drink (YES!)


In the evening watch the sun go down while enjoying a nice cocktail in one of the restaurants or bars right at the beach (we even have a floating bar here), play some pool or watch some movie as there is plenty of entertainment around. As we understand that besides your Dive master course there should be time to relax and enjoy the island life style, we are flexible in the program although you have to focus and do your best.

Note: We are strict on dept limits, maximum depth is 40meters and we don't make deco-dives. If necessary there is a fully equipped recompression chamber centrally located in Cebu city.
Note: Sanctuary fee to be paid in Malapascua Island is 150 Peso per diver per day at all dive sites
